Information for Platform Presenters

Here are some important guidelines to read if your abstract has been accepted for Platform (oral) presentation at the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists to be held, June 12 - 15 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.  Your abstract will be published in the conference program and is eligible for publication in Clinical Anatomy.

While this is an in-person conference, we are requiring accepted authors to upload an electronic copy of their presentations before the meeting.

ELECTRONIC PLATFORM PRESENTATION INFORMATION

An email was sent from the abstract software, Planstone, to all accepted authors on April 30th. The email contained instructions on how authors can upload their recorded presentation, as well as a photograph and a brief biography to Planstone.  Step-by-step instructions on how to upload your files to the speaker portal are also on that email.

The uploaded talk should be around 12 - 15 minutes. Your cooperation with this format will be appreciated.

The Platform presentation should be uploaded as a PowerPoint or Keynote  (no restrictions on size, the system adjusts to the file to fit the screen of the viewer).  Additionally, we encourage you to record audio regarding your ePlatform (much like you would in person).  This presentation should adhere to the requested presentation time of no more than 12 – 15 minutes.

If you choose to use Zoom, here is a step-by-step instruction guide on how to record. For your convenience, we have created a PowerPoint (PPT) template for your ePlatform presentation.  Please use this as a template when creating the presentation.

The ePlatform presentations should be uploaded by May 31st to Planstone.

You will have 12 minutes to present your work followed by 2 minutes for questions from the audience (as indicated by the timer light).  You will be expected to adhere to the time limits so that the meeting can proceed on schedule. Your cooperation with this format is appreciated.

The PRESENTING AUTHOR (i.e., the first author on the abstract) must be registered for the conference by May 5, 2026 or the abstract will be removed from the meeting program.
